SGX eyes higher-risk products to meet demand for yield
Its chief regulatory officer says that the exchange will make sure that the risk taken is a pure commercial one

THE Singapore Exchange (SGX) is considering new, high-yielding products as part of a number of regulatory initiatives being planned, chief regulatory officer Tan Boon Gin told The Business Times on Wednesday.
No firm plans have been made yet, but if such products are to be introduced, they would be to satisfy investor demand for returns.
