A TOP official at the Singapore Exchange (SGX) defended the local bourse's track record on small-cap companies on Wednesday, saying that some small-caps have performed well and that a couple of tech listings can be expected around the end of this year.
Mohamed Nasser Ismail, the exchange's head of equity capital markets for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), said on the sidelines of a free seminar held at its Shenton Way office that it has been "very active" in helping small companies reach out to investors in both Singapore and international financial centres.
