SGX raps Advance SCT for rule breaches

THE Singapore Exchange (SGX) on Friday reprimanded mainboard-listed Advance SCT for breaching several listing rules; the supplier of copper-based products had failed to promptly disclose material information on certain transactions and in some cases, failed to seek shareholder approval.

The company's chairman and chief executive officer Weng Hua Yu alias Simon Eng, and its non-executive director Peter Choo were also rapped.
