SGX seeking legal advice over market disruption, sources say

WITH its reputation on the line, Singapore Exchange (SGX) is now seeking legal advice over the recent market disruption linked to Keppel's data hub, sources told The Business Times.
A power outage last month at its data centre had shut down SGX's securities and derivatives trading systems for at least three hours. This was among the most serious trading outages in recent years, and the most widespread stoppage since 2007.
