THE Singapore Exchange (SGX), operator of South-east Asia's largest bourse, will introduce Asian foreign exchange futures for deliverable and non-deliverable Asian currencies on Nov 11.
Futures contracts for six currency pairs - AUD/USD, AUD/JPY, USD/SGD, INR/USD, KRW/USD and KRW/JPY - will be launched for a start, SGX said in a statement yesterday.
Chief executive Magnus Böcker said: "We will be adding more currency pairs to our Asian foreign exchange suite over the next 12-18 months."
