SGX to tweak listing rules to add breadth of mineral, O&G firms

Exchange has been wooing MOG listing candidates since 2008; to-date, it has 16 minerals and nine oil and gas listings with a total market value of S$2.8b

    THE Singapore Exchange (SGX) is reviewing the entry requirements to accommodate a wider spectrum of companies in the mineral, oil and gas (MOG) sector which can seek an initial public offer (IPO) in Singapore.

    Tan Boon Gin, CEO of SGX Regco, told The Business Times (BT) in a recent interview that the exchange would be refining some of its listing rules.
