SHARE buybacks by Singapore-listed companies hit a nine-month high of S$51.5 million in June.

In a market update on Tuesday, Singapore Exchange (SGX) said that more than 13.4 million shares were repurchased by 18 companies, with the S$51.5 million figure representing a 5.9 per cent rise from May's S$48.6 million.
