Singapore
RETAIL may be deserting brick-and-mortar premises for the online marketplace, but when it comes to cars, dealerships see a shiny new showroom as necessary for growing sales. It is why some of them spend millions to refresh their existing facilities or to erect new ones.
Axel Pannes, managing director of BMW Group Asia, said: "In markets like Singapore, showrooms still play an important role in the retail experience.
