SHS tapping solar power for next growth engine

FLUSH with cash from the recent disposal of its core petroleum distribution business, SHS Holdings is on the lookout for a new business to enter. And following the successful conclusion of the climate change conference in Paris, the firm is confident that the future of the solar power sector is bright - and one that could become its next engine of growth.

SHS, formerly known as See Hup Seng, is hoping to undertake a solar project in Bangladesh in partnership with Malaysian solar company Ditro-lic Solar.
