SIA appoints Peter Seah as deputy chairman

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has appointed DBS group chairman Peter Seah to its board as deputy chairman effective Sept 1.
Mr Seah, who will be an independent non-executive director at SIA, will also join the board's executive committee and the compensation and industrial relations committee.
An established figure in the business community, Mr Seah, 69, is also chairman of LaSalle College of the Arts, the National Wages Council and Singapore Health Services. In addition, he serves on various boards including Fullerton Financial Holdings, GIC, Level 3 Communications Inc and StarHub.
