SIA Engg Co, GE Aviation team up for engine overhaul venture

SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) and GE Aviation will be setting up a new engine overhaul joint venture in Singapore that will provide a full range of engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the GE90 and GE9X engines.
GE will have a 51 per cent stake in the joint venture, while SIAEC will hold the remaining 49 per cent. The partnership is subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
