SIA Engineering appoints former Sembcorp CEO as deputy chairman

    SIA Engineering Company has appointed the former chief executive officer of Sembcorp industries, Tang Kin Fei, as deputy chairman.

    The role is independent and non-executive in nature and takes effect on Monday.

    "Mr Tang's extensive experience in management, business and finance will strongly augment the core competencies of the current board and help in setting directions for the company," SIA Engineering said on Friday.

    Mr Tang, 66, is currently adviser to Sembcorp Industries, after stepping down as group president and CEO at the conglomerate.
