SIA Engineering inks MOU with Air India to service Indian market
SIA Engineering Co has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Air India Engineering Services to collaborate on offering maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services in India.
The two parties will tie up to offer line maintenance and ancillary services at various airports in India as well as engineering training, among other services. In a statement, the companies said that the partnership will allow both to offer a wider spectrum of services and customised packages to domestic and foreign airlines operating in and out of India.
The agreement is not expected to have a material impact on SIA Engineering's financial performance in the current financial year.
