SIA freezes ground staff hiring; eyes voluntary no-pay leave
With thousands of flights cut from Feb-May, airline faces excess staff; it's also looking at other cost-cutting moves

SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) has introduced a hiring freeze and is contemplating other cost-cutting measures amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.
These measures could possibly include asking staff to voluntarily go on no-pay leave, The Straits Times reported on Tuesday.
