SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) took delivery of its first A350-900 in France on Wednesday, with another 66 on order that will help it expand its long-haul network and strengthen its edge over competitors.
The drizzly weather did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the 150-odd guests at the delivery ceremony in Toulouse, which included personnel from SIA, Airbus and engine-maker Rolls-Royce as well as international media.
