SIAEC to adopt announcement of half-yearly financial statements

SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) announced on Friday that it will adopt the announcement of half-yearly financial statements with effect from the current financial year, which ends on March 31, 2021.  

This is so as to engage its shareholders with "clear, timely and consistent communication", said the company.

SIAEC will provide relevant business updates for the first- and third-quarter performances of the company and its subsidiaries, supplementing its half-year and full-year reports, which will continue in their current format.

The business update for SIAEC's first quarter of FY20/21 will be released on Friday, after trading hours of the SGX-ST, and will also be made available on the company's website.

The company's shares closed up 0.02 Singapore cents or 1 per cent at 1.96 cents on Friday.
