SIAEC's Q3 bottom line up on contributions from JVs

BOOSTED by higher contributions from joint venture companies, SIA Engineering Company's (SIAEC) third-quarter net profit edged up 4.2 per cent year-on-year to S$54.8 million even as revenue declined slightly.

Revenue dipped 0.5 per cent to S$271 million owing to a decrease in fleet management revenue; this was partly offset by an increase in line maintenance revenue.
