SECURITIES Investors Association (Singapore) chief David Gerald, saying he is representing the interests of retail investors of Hyflux, on Tuesday sent a letter with a list of queries to Ng Joo Hee, chief executive of the Public Utilities Board (PUB), regarding the developments in the Hyflux saga.

In the letter, Mr Gerald questioned how the purchase price of the Tuaspring Desalination Plant came to be zero, and suggested that it should instead be the equivalent of what it would cost to build an equivalent plant.
