SINGAPORE's watchdog group for investor rights has urged the Securities Industry Council (SIC) to "expeditiously" look into the developments at Asiatravel.com Holdings and its much-delayed S$100 million share placement exercise to Shenzhen-listed Zhonghong Holding.
"SIAS is concerned with the developments involving Asiatravel.com and the purported white knight, Zhonghong, since September 2015," said the Securities Investors Association of Singapore (SIAS) president and chief executive David Gerald in a letter addressed to SIC chairman JY Pillay.
