Siemens opens its first fully integrated digitalisation hub in Singapore
GLOBAL technology company Siemens launched its first fully integrated digitalisation hub in Singapore on Tuesday at parallel events held simultaneously in Singapore and its headquarters in Munich, Germany.
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Siemens AG's president and chief executive officer (CEO) Joe Kaeser unveiled a plaque in Munich to mark the hub's opening, while Minister for Trade and Industry S Iswaran and the CEO of Siemens Singapore Armin Bruck officiated the opening of the hub in Singapore.
The hub, said to be the first in the world to integrate multi-disciplinary digitalisation specialists from different businesses, will support digitalisation efforts of South-east Asian companies in the urban infrastructure, advanced manufacturing and health care sectors.
