SIIC Environment inks upgrading, expansion deal for wastewater treatment project
WASTEWATER treatment company SIIC Environment : BHK 0%’s indirect subsidiaries have signed an agreement to upgrade and expand a project with a total designed capacity of 50,000 tonnes per day.
Located in the Shanting district of Zhaozhuang in Shandong, China, the project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s future performance, said the company on Thursday (Oct 5).
The work includes upgrading the discharge standard of a commercially operational wastewater treatment plant with a designed capacity of 20,000 tonnes. Its concession period is to be extended.
SIIC Environment will also reconstruct and expand a 30,000-tonne wastewater treatment plant with a concession period of 30 years.
Shares of the group on the Singapore Exchange’s mainboard closed unchanged on Thursday at S$0.196. No trades were done before the news.
