Silkroad Nickel secures S$400m long-term contract to supply nickel ore

A SUBSIDIARY of Indonesian nickel mining group Silkroad Nickel has signed a new offtake agreement estimated to be worth more than S$400 million to supply 15 million tonnes of nickel ore over a period of five to eight years to PT Transon Bumindo Resources.
According to the contract, the group has to deliver a minimum of 1.5 million tonnes of nickel ore annually to PT Transon Bumindo Resources, commencing March 2020.
