DESPITE the flurry of news items from various companies, Tuesday still saw a slow session on the overall bourse, with few clear leads.
About 1.49 billion shares changed hands for S$1.22 billion, with losers beating gainers 246 to 187.
The benchmark Straits Times Index inched up by a mere 5.02 points, or 0.14 per cent, to 3,584.56.
