Singapore brands' value up but strength still a concern: study

THE value of top Singapore brands may have grown but concerns remain about their strength as they have "remained stagnant" and are losing out to some key rivals in the region due to the lack of competitiveness outside of the Singapore market.
Overall, the value of the top 100 Singapore brands in 2017 climbed to US$42.6 billion, up four per cent from US$41.1 billion in 2016, brand valuation and strategy consultancy Brand Finance said in a ranking study on Monday.
