Singapore Exchange's Q4 profit jumps 24.3% to S$96.22m

SINGAPORE Exchange reported on Wednesday a 24.3 per cent year-on-year rise in net profit to S$96.22 million for the fourth quarter ended June 30, 2015.
Revenue for the quarter was up nearly 25 per cent at S$215.61 million, while earnings per share came to nine cents, up from 7.2 cents in the year-ago period.
For the full year, net profit rose 8.8 per cent to S$348.61 million, while revenue increased 13.4 per cent to S$778.89 million, driven by the robust performance of its derivatives business.
The board of directors has proposed a final dividend of 16 cents per share, payable on Oct 9.
