Singapore market a top pick for H2; upside seen in reopening, cyclical plays
Analysts are raising their targets for the Singapore market as the state rolls out vaccines and gradually resumes economic activities

ALTHOUGH the first half of 2021 has dealt the Singapore market a number of bad cards, among them a new virus variant and a spike in community cases, market watchers still believe the city-state offers some of the best returns for investors in the region.
This is particularly in the form of "reopening plays" and cyclical sectors, which will benefit from a speedy vaccination programme and the gradual resumption of economic activities.
