MERGERS and acquisitions (M&As) in Singapore burgeoned to record highs in the first half of this year, almost doubling the values registered in the same period last year.
Latest numbers from Refinitiv showed Singapore-announced M&A activity grew 82.4 per cent year on year to US$80.9 billion in the first six months of 2021 - the highest semiannual period on record.
