SINGAPORE stocks rose at Friday’s (Sep 15) open, tracking global markets that finished higher overnight.
As at 9.01 am, the Straits Times Index (STI) had climbed 16.57 points or 0.5 per cent to 3,266.08. Across the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 73 to 26, with 36.4 million securities worth S$48.7 million changing hands.
The most actively traded stock by volume was Seatrium , with 45.9 million securities transacted. The counter rose S$0.003 or 2.2 per cent to S$0.14.
