THE combined value of stocks in Singapore rose in August as the state continued to battle the Covid-19 pandemic.
The total market capitalisation of the 701 counters listed on the Singapore Exchange increased by 0.3 per cent to S$760.4 billion in August from S$758 billion in July. The number of gainers outnumbered losers 302 to 242.
