THE total value of Singapore stocks edged up 0.3 per cent in February 2022, while the Straits Times Index (STI) rose 0.4 per cent, with a decline in local banks offset by gains in other STI component stocks.
According to data compiled by The Business Times, total market capitalisation of the 664 companies listed here rose to S$860.2 billion as at end February, from S$857.6 billion the previous month. Gainers outnumbered losers 257 to 228.
