Singtel appoints Allen & Gledhill’s Tan Tze Gay as independent director
SINGTEL : Z74 0% has appointed Tan Tze Gay as a non-executive independent director, the mainboard-listed company said on Monday (Feb 6).
She is a partner of Allen & Gledhill and the law firm’s head of equity capital markets. Tan’s area of expertise includes equity and debt capital markets, as well as corporate regulatory and compliance.
According to the bourse filing, she has extensive experience acting for issuers and underwriters on a wide range of “innovative, high value and complex transactions”. These include initial public offerings and listings on the Singapore Exchange, and regional and international exchanges, as well as global debt offerings.
Tan continues to advise listed corporates and business trusts after listing their follow-on equity offerings, debt offerings, acquisitions and disposals and corporate regulatory and compliance advisory matters.
Tan is also an independent non-executive director at SIA Engineering Company.
Shares of Singtel closed 0.4 per cent lower or S$0.01 at S$2.54 on Friday.
