Singtel Q4 earnings slip on lower regional contributions

But telco expects annual payout of 17.5 Singapore cents a share until FY2020

A WEAKER fourth quarter at two associates torpedoed Singtel's earnings, according to results out on Thursday.

Net profit was S$781 million for the three months to March 31, plunging 19 per cent on the year before, on a flattish turnover of S$4.33 billion.
