Singtel shares fall on competition concerns

SINGTEL was the Singapore Exchange's most actively traded counter on Wednesday with 58 million shares worth nearly S$220 million done.
The counter slipped six Singapore cents or 1.6 per cent to finish the day at S$3.82, underperforming the local bourse's key Straits Times Index which rose 11.3 points or 0.4 per cent to 3,186.01. Singtel stock hit a day's low of S$3.78 and a high of S$3.84.
