Singtel's Optus Business in ICT deal with QBE Australia
SINGTEL'S Optus Business announced before trading started on Monday a new three-year ICT (information communication technology) services agreement with QBE Australia.
The agreement will see Optus deliver voice, mobile and data network services for QBE.
The new contract supports voice and data services connecting more than 4,000 QBE end-users across 42 locations in Australia using the Optus network.
Tony Forward, chief information officer for QBE Australia, said: "QBE is committed to a continued focus on innovation in the insurance services market in Australia. The strategic partnership with Optus will support QBE's strategy to offer more personalised and compelling customer experiences."
John Paitaridis, managing director, Optus Business, said: "We're delighted with the new three-year partnership between QBE Australia and Optus, and look forward to supporting QBE with a range of ICT services to support their business growth, speed to market and superior customer service."
