SINO Construction's power generation subsidiary is gearing up for business in South Korea, but its success is ultimately contingent upon regulatory approval.

On Monday, the company announced that its 70 per cent owned joint venture subsidiary Magnum Modular Power Generation has begun construction of micro power plants (MPPs) in South Korea. Initial deposits for the construction of the first MPP have been paid, and another one will begin construction within 30 days.
