Sinopipe unit secures 30m yuan contract for Chongqing Airport rain drainage system

SINOPIPE Holdings' subsidiary, Aton Plastics (Chongqing), has secured a contract worth 30 million yuan (S$6.35 million) related to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport's rain drainage system.

Aton was alerted on Dec 2 that it was successful in its bid for the pipe and fittings procurement tender for the construction of a rain drainage system at the East Terminal and third runway at Chongqing Airport.

The pipe and fittings are expected to be delivered in 2015.

Sinopipe said on Tuesday that the successful tender is expected to contribute positively to the financial performance of the group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2015.
