Chief executive of UOB Wee Ee Cheong has dropped out of the S$10-million pay club, with a fall in bonus in 2015 from a year ago. His peers both had their bonuses bumped up, annual reports showed, as DBS and OCBC posted record profits in 2015.
Mr Wee was paid S$9.22 million in 2015, down about 10 per cent from 2104's S$10.22 million, the bank's annual report on Wednesday showed. His 2015 pay comprised principally an unchanged salary of S$1.2 million and a lower variable bonus of S$8 million. His 2014 bonus was S$9 million. The CEO also receives benefits-in kind such as transport.
