THE Ascott Limited, CapitaLand's serviced residence arm, entered into an exclusive partnership with Samsung Asia, a unit of Samsung Electronics, earlier this month to jointly develop Internet of Things-ready smart solutions for its properties.
This makes Ascott the first global serviced residence company to embrace smart home technologies, it said in a press release on Wednesday.
