SMRT joins on-demand private hire car bandwagon
It ties up with ride-booking platform Grab to offer limousine, chauffeured and car rental services

THE next private hire car that you call for from online booking apps might just be owned and managed by transport operator SMRT.
SMRT Taxis, a unit of mainboard-listed SMRT, announced on Monday that its subsidiary Strides Transportation has inked a one-year partnership with ride-booking platform Grab.
Through the collaboration, Strides will provide car-booking services to commuters via the latter's GrabCar platform for a year.
