Soilbuild Q4 profit falls 38% to S$3.5m; to pay S$0.0125 per share dividend
SOILBUILD Construction Group's fourth-quarter net profit fell 37.6 per cent to S$3.5 million, or 0.52 Singapore cents per share, amid weaker revenues.
The construction company is declaring a final dividend of 0.5 S cents per share and a special dividend of 0.75 Singapore cents per share. Soilbuild stock was untraded on Wednesday, but was last bid at 22 S cents.
For the full year ended Dec 31, 2016, net profit declined by 36 per cent to S$11.9 million, or 1.78 Singapore cents per share. Net asset value stood at 14.65 S cents per share as at end-2016.
Revenue in the fourth quarter slipped 8.8 per cent to S$89.4 million, mostly coming from Singapore-based residential, industrial and elderly care projects. The construction company also recognised S$6.2 million of revenue from projects in Myanmar during the quarter.
