South Korean veteran appointed as chief executive for Koh Brothers unit
KOH Brothers Eco Engineering has appointed a South Korean industry veteran, Shin Yong Seub, as its chief executive.
Mr Shin has spent 28 years with Samsung Group and Samsung C&T.
Prior to his new appointment, Mr Shin was the head of South-east Asia for Samsung C&T from 2010 to 2015. He held the office of general manager for Samsung Corporation's E&C Group in Singapore and was the managing director for Samsung Singapore's regional office for South-east Asia from 1997 to 2004.
Mr Shin has participated in several key projects in Singapore including Kallang Paya Lebar Expressway C423, Biopolis and Downtown, Thomson MRT Lines and Jurong LNG Terminal. His notable projects in the region include KL 118 Tower, the tallest in South-east Asia, Shatin Central MTR line in Hong Kong and the Trung Son Hydro Dam and Hatin Formosa Steel Mill Deep Sea Port in Vietnam.
