Spackman subsidiary secures contract to supply camera systems, equipment
SPACKMAN Entertainment Group announced on Wednesday that its subsidiary Frame Pictures Co Ltd had secured a contract to supply camera systems and equipment to an upcoming crime thriller movie titled Deceptive Murder.
Worth 220 million won (about S$264,000), the deal is the 13th project that Frame Pictures has secured in 2017 to date.
Frame Pictures' camera sets are currently on loan to four ongoing Korean productions - two movies and two television dramas.
"Frame Pictures has procured 13 projects so far in 2017 and is on pace to surpass last year's total of 20. It is bidding for another 15 new projects for the remaining part of the fiscal year," said executive chairman and CEO of Spackman Entertainment Group, Charles Spackman.
" On average, the completed projects thus far have resulted in an EBITDA margin of over 50 per cent," he added.
Mr Spackman said that Frame Pictures plans to boost future revenue per project by offering post-production services like sound and colour mixing.
The announcement was made after market close. Spackman's counter ended half a Singapore cent down at S$0.097 on Wednesday.
