SPDR Gold most active ETF as investors hedge against uncertainty

GOLD was the most active exchange-traded fund (ETF) on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) so far this year as investors sought refuge against financial volatility.
Month to date and year-to-June 14, the SPDR Gold Shares ETF was the top ETF traded with investors richly rewarded. Total returns for the first two weeks of June and YTD were 4 per cent and 15 per cent respectively, accoding to the SGX on Wednesday.
