SOME of Citi Singapore's employees turned up for work in their military gear on Friday as Singapore celebrated 50 years of National Service (NS50). This is in response to The Association of Banks in Singapore's call to member banks to allow staff who were, or still are, national servicemen to wear their military uniforms to offices on June 30. On the same day, those who wore their uniforms were also given free rides on buses and trains by public transport operators.
