SPH and StarHub to collaborate in ad sales, content creation, data analytics, marketing
SINGAPORE Press Holdings (SPH) and StarHub on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate in areas of advertising sales, content creation, data analytics and marketing.
The partnership will see several new initiatives that will benefit both SPH and StarHub customers, such as augmented mobile and television offerings, and richer content across each partner's media platforms.
Some of these initiatives will be announced in the next few months, StarHub chief executive Tan Tong Hai told reporters at the MOU signing. The collaboration between both partners has been in discussions for a while, Mr Tan shared, adding that strategic partnerships are the way to go today as they can achieve more innovation than if a company goes at it alone, and that "time to market" today is too short for companies to attempt innovation in silos.
For SPH, the partnership with StarHub furthers its strategy to build an "integrated, multi-platform" business to better serve its readers and advertisers, said SPH CEO Alan Chan. "Together, I am confident that we can stay at the forefront of the evolving media landscape."
