SPH, Singapore Polytechnic announce tie-up to co-create video content for advertisers
SINGAPORE Press Holdings (SPH) and Singapore Polytechnic (SP) on Friday announced a collaboration between the former's multimedia content marketing unit, SPH Content Lab, and students taking SP's Diploma in Media and Communication (DMC).
With this tie-up, SPH's Content Lab and DMC students will co-create video content for millennials, by millennials. The video series will also provide a new medium for SPH advertisers and agency clients to reach out to younger audiences in "a fun and innovative way". The content to be created will specifically be in the fashion and beauty space.
SPH and SP signed a memorandum of understanding during Holler, a SP media showcase. Over the next year, DMC students will be mentored by content specialists from SPH Content Lab as they conceptualise and produce a series of videos spotlighting various fashion and lifestyle products and brands.
The videos produced under this agreement will be based on a concept proposed by second-year DMC students, who will be able to work in dedicated spaces situated in both SP and SPH.
