ETF popularity poised to stay as investors flock to diversification, stability
WHEN marketing communications manager Ong Yun Qi entered the workforce three years ago, she chose to kickstart her investing journey with equity exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and bonds.
“I don’t have a lot of time in my day to analyse the stock market, so I needed something that I can do rather passively,” said the 27-year-old.
Since then, Ong has built a portfolio of ETFs focused on mainly Singaporean companies, as well as developed and emerging markets.
