ELBE Flugzeugwerke (EFW) - the joint venture owned by ST Aerospace and Airbus - has landed a contract from DHL Express for four firm and 10 optional A330-300 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversions, which comes on the heels of an earlier contract secured last year.
In July last year, DHL awarded ST Aerospace's subsidiary a contract for four similar A330-300P2F conversions. The first aircraft under that contract is currently being converted at EFW's facilities in Dresden, Germany, and is expected to be redelivered by year-end.
