ST Engineering makes role changes to key management appointments
DEFENCE conglomerate Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) has announced new roles for some of its key management on Friday morning.
Lee Fook Sun, currently president of ST Electronics and president of ST Engineering's defence business, will now also be deputy CEO of ST Engineering. "In this new position, he will explore additional synergies across the group's four business sectors," an ST Engineering press release said.
Vincent Chong Sy Feng, currently ST Aerospace's president of strategic plans and business development, will also be deputy CEO (corporate development). He will oversee the group's corporate functions.
Lim Serh Ghee, currently ST Aerospace's chief operating officer and its president of the defence business, will be appointed president of ST Aerospace. The sector is currently overseen by Tan Pheng Hock, president and CEO of ST Engineering.
The appointments are effective Dec 1, 2014.
ST Engineering closed at S$3.35 on Thursday, down five cents or 1.5 per cent.
