ST Engineering Q1 profit edges up
Bottomline helped by surge in contributions from associates and jointly controlled entities

SINGAPORE Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) reported a 2.4 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit to $137.2 million for the first quarter as revenue rose just 0.5 per cent to $1.55 billion.
Earnings per share for the three months were 4.41 cents, compared with 4.34 Singapore cents a year earlier.
